There is also a small shopping centre just across the road, with a bakery, a green grocer, a butcher’s shop and a delicious Italian restaurant.
The home itself is a first-floor residence, accessed by a charming stone staircase and a balcony clad in petrea, which gives the cottage its name and a provides a gorgeous purple welcome when in bloom. Enter into the small foyer and the connected living and dining rooms beyond.
